Sunai Consultancy has experience of conducting Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and In-depth interviews with targeted respondents.
Starting point of conducting a FGD is selection or recruitment of respondents with a targeted and uniform background. There needs to be a checklistof questions to get open responses from the respondents in group, with free interact among themselves. FGDs are moderated by an experienced person having fair amount of knowledge and understanding about the domain area. Moderator key task is to get insight of the group of respondents on the topic or question check list without any personal biases. A moderator is accompanied by note taker. Thus, a two-person team conductsaFGD.This is an integral part of a qualitative research. As per requirements, discussions are recorded and transcripts are prepared apart from preparation of the summary notes of every discussions.
